TUSENHUNDRASEX

2018- 2019

The maximum, the most, the absolute greatest that exists: one thousand one hundred and six.

This is how Miranda Frisk reasoned as a four-year-old. Since then, it has become a common symbol for the sisters Kajsa and Miranda Frisk. In recent years, the sisters, both individually and together, have developed a great interest in analog photography. In the exhibition Tusenhundrasex, black and white analog images from their lives in Barcelona are presented where they lived together in a small apartment.

The pictures tell of a time that is maximally charged, almost electric, but at the same time a mournful breaking point between youth and adult life.

The project was implemented through the Cultural Support Scholarship for Youths, City of Stockholm.
